horsing around

The really unique thing about my fruit and vegetable shop is that the back of the shop has a wire door leading out to the neighbours yard- a yard that doubles as a horse paddock. The horse that lives there coincidentally has a keen interest in fruit and vegetables.  The first time I saw it stick its head through the door and pick produce from the shelf I almost fell off of the blue plastic chair.  I tattled on him and regretted it instantly as I watched his head being heaved back out the door.  Now I focus on my orange and watch the horse out of the corner of my eye as he makes a grab for it.  This course of action has proven far more entertaining and educational as I am learning some local curse words.
